[English]: Two years ago Livio Sandro came from Paris to Berlin with Techno already running in his blood and infected by the big deep sound of the capital. He followed his instincts and provides an insight into his multi-european consciousness of sound presenting a broad spectrum of electronical music. The first track, „Instinct“, combines dark drones with a refreshing acid-sound, not even sounding like eigthies, yet on this account it´s outstanding. The second track, “Cemetery Land”, calls out for big halls with tight bass. “Big Fish on a Small Lake” lets us philosophize that even a small “fish” can be great in the “experimental pond”. Finally: the damn catchy last track of the EP named “They´re Coming” remaining hypnotic even if you´ve heard it time and time again. Hats off to the fresh sounds of the young Frenchman in the European capital of Techno. These synergies are needed in this town and are notably supported by Impfstoff B.
[German]: Als Livio Sandro vor zwei Jahren aus Paris nach Berlin kam, hatte er schon Techno im Blut und infizierte sich hier mit den großen, deepen Klängen der Hauptstadt. Er folgte seinem Instinkt und dieser eröffnet uns auch den Einblick in sein multieuropäisches Klangbewusstsein, welches in bestechender Intensität, ein breites Spektrum an technoider Varianz mit experimentellem Charme präsentiert. Der erste Track, „Instinct“, verbindet darke Drones mit einem erfrischenden Acid-Sound, der so gar nicht nach Achtziger klingt, aber eben darum besticht. Der zweite Track, „Cemetery Land“, schreit dann auch schon nach riesen Hallen mit knackigen Bässen – hier bebt das „B“ –der Beat-des Impfstoffs aus Berlin. „Big Fish on a small Lake“ erzählt musikalisch Tiefgründiges und lässt uns philosophieren, dass auch ein kleiner Fisch groß im experimentellen Teich sein kann. Als verdammt eingängig kommt dann noch der letzte Track der E.P., „They´re Coming“, daher, der hart & treibend, melodiös & hypnotisch und –nach einmaligem Hören- unvergesslich und ewig wiederholbar bleibt . ‚Chapeaux‘ für den frischen Sound des jungen Franzosen in der Technohauptstadt Europas. Solche Synergien sind es, die diese Stadt braucht und Impfstoff-B unterstützt.
